Scrap Hunger, Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) charitable organization striving to raise awareness and have a strong impact on the fight against hunger in New Jersey by recycling unwanted scrap metal and encouraging a greener environment.

Scrap Hunger, Inc. collects and recycles unwanted scrap metal and uses the proceeds and monetary donations to support area food banks that feed the hungry in New Jersey.  Donations are tax deductible.

Scrap Hunger, Inc. partners with New Jersey communities, schools, workplaces, etc. to organize scrap metal drives and collections.  All items collected and donated will be sorted, weighed and sold at market value for scrap.

Scrap Hunger, Inc. is funded through contributions from the general public from scrap metal drives, direct scrap metal collections, and donations.

Scrap metal that is often thrown in the trash or tossed at the curb can be converted into dollars.  One in ten people in New Jersey face hunger.  We all have the opportunity to make a difference, to help improve the lives of others, to Scrap Hunger.
